How to improve your organic social posting in 7 simple steps!

If managing your social media feels overwhelming while others seem to make it look effortless, you're not alone! Here are seven quick tips to help simplify your posting process and make your journey on socials much smoother.

1. Consistency is key!

Having a designated number of social posts per week that you aim for is a great way to keep yourself accountable and the algorithm happy.

2. Share a variety of content

The best way to keep your followers interested? Get creative with a range of content formats and themes. Why not give a Reel a go or share some more team-focused content to mix things up?

3. Schedule your posts for up to a month in advance

Want to avoid getting to Sunday night and realising you’ve forgotten to post all week? Why not schedule your socials in advance? By using the free Meta Business Suite (or a scheduling tool of your choice), you can pre-plan your content, scheduling it for days and times of the week that suit your audience.

4. Tailoring your tagging

Cross-posting across Facebook and Instagram? If you’re tagging a fellow creator or business in your post, make sure you tag the correct account in each post.

5. Keep it real!

When it comes to sharing content about your business on social media, being your true, authentic self is best. You can do this by ditching over-the-top editing and creating posts that resonate with your audience, such as behind-the-scenes content that your followers wouldn't otherwise see.

6. Utilise the power of Stories

Facebook and Instagram stories are quickly becoming key places for businesses to share in-the-moment updates, repost their Feed content, or link to other resources, such as a website. This disappearing content is often where people go for a quick social-media fix and is a great way to connect with your audience.

7. Help for hashtagging

Whether you love hashtags or hate them, they are a quick and useful way to categorise your content. When sharing to Instagram, aim for three to five hashtags per post, and be sure to include your business name or product/service amongst these!
