Charlotte Matthews

Cheery, bright, clever and very much the people-person is our newest Kingthing member on the block - Marketing Coordinator, Charlotte.

With a keen eye for the newest trends in digital marketing and a strong preference for punchy content writing and social media advertising she brings a highly creative and motivated attitude to any work thrown her way.

In her role Charlotte works closely with our Managing Marketing Consultant, Taihlaura, as well as aiding other consultants, completing administrative tasks, and doing the odd-job every now and then.

Aside from helping Taihlaura and the Kingthing team in any way she knows how, Charlotte is also coming to the tail-end of her Accelerated Bachelor of Business degree at the University of Tasmania. She will be graduating towards the end of 2023 with a major in both Marketing and Management. While an Accelerated degree was albeit a bit time-consuming, she enjoyed the challenge, and was determined to put her head down and do the work. A key motivation was concluding her degree and getting into the workforce as soon as possible (tick!).

Some of the highlights of her time at university was completing a Corporate Internship, as well as making meaningful connections with her peers and lecturers.

Prior to Kingthing while completing her studies, Charlotte maintained retail work where she honed her customer service and communication skills. Starting her working life at a young age, Charlotte has always enjoyed working in a team environment and getting to know those around her. A strong work ethic is something that is definitely not lost on this Gen Z lady!

In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys; catching up with friends (over a wine preferably), going to pilates, and bingeing a good doco or tv series.
