Jono Bishop

Jono has nearly 22 years of experience as a creative in various Launceston advertising and marketing businesses. He started off his career by completing an Associate Diploma of Graphic Design and his first job was a Signwriter back in the early 1990's. After ten years of experience in Signwriting, he went on to further develop his design skills by completing a Diploma of Multimedia.

His next role as Graphic Designer at a Software Company for 5 years saw him designing for web, software applications, and digital and traditional marketing collateral for global companies.

Over the past 12 years, Jono has worked for 2 major advertising and marketing companies in Tasmania as a Senior Designer. He has extensive knowledge of industry-standard applications and his skill set includes graphic design, illustration, animation, video, photography, and web design. We are so pleased that Jono has joined team Kingthing.

A content developer specialising in animation, digital presentations, and interactive content. Jono's expertise extends to the best application for our client’s requirements for both digital and traditional media.

With an eye for detail in design including colour and font usage, he draws on a blend of new media with traditional design skills. His calming personality brings another dimension of deep thinking to the hustle and bustle of our busy art studio.

If you could write your own job title that best describes what you do at Kingthing, what would it be?
I push coloured shapes and text around a screen until a client likes it.

Rob won't stop whistling in the office, how do you distract him?
The Olympics is on Rob!

What's your coffee/hot drink order?
Flat white or a piccolo or a Short macchiato. Just one will do.

Who would you invite to a dinner party?
Dave Grohl or Tony Hawk

If you could be a world champion in any sport, what would it be?
Table Tennis.

What would be your ultimate three course meal?
Donuts for Entree, Donuts for main and donuts for dessert.
